Students from Ysgol Glan Clwyd who have completed two years of A Level study can apply to receive financial aid to enable them to access further education especially those students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Award Criteria
To meet the criteria for the grant students must;
- Have finished Statutory Education (i.e. Year 11) 2006 and onwards.
- Have completed 2 years of Level 3 Education (i.e. A level or equivalent) at Denbigh High School or Ysgol Glan Clwyd.
- Take up a place at an University or College of Higher Education to undertake a Degree level, HND or Foundation course leading to a degree or HND course.
- Applications will also be accepted from Students who attended other local (i.e. North Wales) state funded educational establishment whilst living within the Community Council boundaries of :-

Except in exceptional cases and at the sole discretion of the Trustees the maximum award will be for 4 years from the beginning of the entry to the University or College.
An additional amount over the normal award will be given to students who, during the last two years at School, were in receipt of EMA. The amount of the award and additional award will be determined annually by the Trustees.
