Welsh Language Immersion Scheme
Ysgol Glan Clwyd’s Welsh Immersion Scheme is a successful way to teach Welsh to students that have not received a Welsh education beforehand. The students that follow the Immersion Programme can benefit from the opportunity to learn within target groups during Years 7 and 8 in order to increase their understanding of Welsh and gain confidence in the language before joining with the mainstream in Year 9. At the Open Evening, a tour of the school will be provided, and there will be an opportunity to meet the Immersion Scheme Coordinator, Mrs Llio Davies for more information on the scheme.
